Community Safety Team want to hear from under 18’s

New community safety youth survey launched
Our Community Safety team would like to hear from under 18’s. The team has launched their Youth Survey, which has been co-designed with young people.
The survey aims to give young people an opportunity to have their say about the community issues affecting them. The team already run the annual Safer Central Survey, which allows residents across Central Bedfordshire to give feedback on how safe they feel and highlight the things they think are problematic in their neighbourhoods, like fly tipping and anti-social behaviour.
It was recognised that younger people may have slightly different concerns and priorities, which is why the team introduced a separate survey. The Youth Support Service were heavily involved, working with young people and incorporating their comments and suggestions into the final version of the survey.
We are asking parents or carers of young people who are under 18 to encourage them to take part in the survey, which should should only take a few minutes. It is available here on the Safer Central website.
Anyone over 18 can take part in this Safer Central Survey.
